OM Guarantee never invents outcome figures. Until your charity confirms its own rate, merchants who give to you show verified dollars and nothing else. If you confirm what one unit of your work costs, for example $0.50 for one meal served, that becomes the only source of unit claims on any page or widget.
A merchant asks
A merchant who supports you requests confirmation from their dashboard. You get an email at your work address with a secure link.
You set the rate
You enter your name, title, and what one unit of outcome costs your organization. The merchant cannot propose or edit the number.
You verify by email
A second email checks the address is really yours. Nothing goes live until you click that link.
It stands for 12 months
Confirmed rates expire after a year and can be revoked. When a rate lapses, unit figures come down and verified dollars remain.
Receiving is passive. The numbers are yours.

Can international charities receive donations through OM Guarantee?
Yes. Recipient charities must be listed on Every.org, which covers US 501(c)(3) organisations and international charities that have their own US entity, a US 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor, or an Equivalency Determination accepted by Every.org. Every.org's catalogue already includes organisations in Colombia, the UK, Canada, Switzerland and elsewhere.
